Welcome to the PublicBusinessList API reference. Our API is organized around REST, has predictable resource-oriented URLs, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.

Authentication
The PublicBusinessList API uses API keys to authenticate requests. You can view and manage your API keys in the Dashboard.
Your API keys carry many privileges, so be sure to keep them secure! Do not share your secret API keys in publicly accessible areas such as GitHub, client-side code, and so forth.

For large data requests, we use an asynchronous workflow. This allows you to request large datasets without timing out.
Request Export
Send a POST request to/exports with your filters.
Get Job ID
Receive ajob_id in the immediate response.
Poll or Webhook
Poll/jobs/:id or wait for a webhook notification when complete.
